Daymond Goulder-Horobin

Rock The Vote NZ Deputy Party Leader

Daymond Goulder-Horobin is an aspiring individual who seeks to bring freedom, transparency, and justice to New Zealand. He has a solid background in economics and IT developed through years of university study and freelance work. He has trained himself to solve problems using logical reasoning during his time at university, making him an invaluable asset to any political party in New Zealand.

Daymond believes in the fundamentals that a political party needs to gain legitimacy to show it can govern effectively, as he says, “it’s not just about the fun stuff, it's about the boring stuff as well”. As a result, Rock The Vote NZ actively submits on legislation and develops cornerstone policies to demonstrate its readiness to govern.

Daymond has spent the last nine years supporting political parties on Executive Boards and Committees, backing the Internet Party in 2017 with their Digital Bill of Rights and standing by Kim Dotcom against the injustices he faced. He then supported Advance NZ in 2020 on their Policy Committee and helped craft policy in collaboration with other candidates, directly challenging the government's response to the pandemic, and he considers it almost criminal how easily freedoms were surrendered in the name of fear and compliance.

In 2025, Daymond is now the Deputy Party Leader of Rock The Vote NZ and has decided to throw himself into the fire. He is currently running for the Franklin Local Board to support the community and get involved publicly. No longer sitting idly on the various committees, he now seeks to get involved himself against the governmental tyranny that is taking place, believing that a pre-emptive campaign is needed against a fast approaching storm that is right now on our doorsteps, which includes a new wave of deeply-concerning censorship, and also the indoctrination of New Zealand’s children via unscientific ideologies and propaganda. Join Rock The Vote NZ, and together we will put an end to the tyranny.
